LinqTV Live

Go live to a global audience, in minutes

A complete live streaming platform built for moments that cannot be re-run. Redundant ingest, adaptive delivery and instant recording, so your biggest broadcasts stay smooth from the first viewer to the millionth.

Built for broadcasts that matter

Live streaming is unforgiving. There is no second take when the whistle blows or the curtain rises, and audiences abandon a stream that buffers within seconds. LinqTV Live is engineered around that reality: the ingest path is redundant, the transcoding is adaptive, and capacity is planned for the concurrency spike that arrives the instant your event begins.

Because Live shares identity, billing and analytics with the rest of LinqTV, you are not bolting a separate tool onto your service. A subscriber who watches a live final on Saturday picks up the recorded highlights on Sunday with the same account, on the same apps.

What you get with Live

Redundant ingest

Push your feed over RTMP or SRT from any encoder or camera. Dual ingest endpoints and automatic failover keep high-stakes broadcasts on air even if a primary path drops.

Adaptive transcoding

Every stream is transcoded into a multi-bitrate ladder in real time, so viewers on a phone tower and viewers on fibre both get the smoothest quality their connection allows.

Latency you choose

Run standard HLS for maximum stability, switch to low-latency mode for two-to-six second delays, or go ultra-low-latency for auctions and interactive shows where every second counts.

Live DVR & instant replay

Let late arrivals rewind to the start, pause, and catch the moment they missed without leaving the live window.

Record to on-demand

Every broadcast is captured automatically and published to your catalog the moment it ends, so a one-time event keeps earning views and revenue for months.

Built-in monetization

Gate a stream behind a subscription, sell a single pay-per-view ticket, or insert ads, using the same checkout and entitlements as the rest of your service.

How a LinqTV Live broadcast works

1

Connect your source

Point OBS, a hardware encoder, or a mobile app at your LinqTV Live ingest URL. No custom infrastructure to provision.

2

We transcode and protect

LinqTV packages the feed into adaptive renditions, applies DRM or signed URLs, and routes it to a global CDN.

3

Audiences watch anywhere

Viewers join on web, mobile and TV apps with the same sign-in and entitlements they already use.

4

Replay lives on

The recording is auto-published to your on-demand library, ready to clip, share, and monetize.

Common questions

How much latency should I expect?

Standard live runs around 10 to 30 seconds. Low-latency mode reaches two to six seconds, and ultra-low-latency goes sub-second for interactive use, trading a little buffering resilience for immediacy.

What happens if my encoder fails mid-event?

Configure a backup encoder against the second ingest endpoint. If the primary feed drops, LinqTV fails over automatically so the audience experience is uninterrupted.

Can I charge for a single event?

Yes. Sell pay-per-view tickets to a one-off stream, bundle it free for subscribers, or run ads, all through the same billing layer as your on-demand catalog.
