1. Scope and roles

This policy applies to information collected by LinqTV as a data controller for our corporate website, account registration, billing, marketing, and direct customer relationships. When you operate a streaming service built on LinqTV, you may act as the data controller for your end-users' viewing data, and LinqTV may process that information on your behalf as a data processor under your instructions and applicable agreements.

Enterprise customers should refer to their Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and service order for processor obligations, subprocessors, and regional data residency options.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account and profile details: name, email, phone, company, job title, billing address
  • Payment information processed through PCI-compliant payment providers
  • Support tickets, demo requests, sales inquiries, and survey responses
  • Content and configuration data you upload to the LinqTV platform
  • Communications you send to us, including email and chat transcripts

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, operating system, language, and referral URLs
  • IP address, approximate location, and session identifiers
  • Usage logs: pages viewed, features used, clickstream, and error reports
  • Streaming analytics such as playback events, quality metrics, and device endpoints
  • Cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy

Information from third parties

We may receive information from integration partners, advertising platforms, identity providers used for SSO, event registrars, and publicly available business directories to maintain accurate account records and improve service delivery.

Account data is generally retained for the life of your subscription plus a defined period thereafter. Anonymized analytics may be retained longer for product improvement.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, vulnerability management, and employee training. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong credentials and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
